In winter Val di Fiemme is special because of the two sports you can do even at the most advanced levels-Alpine Skiing and cross-country skiing-without neglecting the numerous après-ski going-on. Val di Fiemme, renowned as the mecca of cross-country skiing, hosts the World Cup competition in this categories well as other important competitions like the Marcialonga di Fiemme e Fassa. You can use the ski areas with the Dolomiti Superski skipass that will allow you access to the slopes of the Ski Center Latemar, AlpeCermis, Bellamonte-AlpeLusia, Passo Lavazè and Oclini, with over 100km of downhill slopes. You can do cross-country skiing in the cross-country ski centres at Passo Lavazè and in Lago di Tesero, as well as along the Marcialonga track route.

The charme of practising alpine skiing in Val di Fiemme includes 100 km of slopes, 120 ski instructors, 50 latest generation lift facilities and a ski-bus service. Thanks to an advanced snow-making system, snow and skiing are guaranteed from November to late April; all slopes are reachable from any place in the valley via fast and latest generation lift facilities. SKI CENTER LATEMAR, with access from Predazzo, Pampeago and Obereggen

All the areas pay particular attention to the needs of young skiers, who want to learn to ski while playing: there you can find colourful Kindergartens, snow parks and ski slopes for beginners. The Dolomites are also well known for its sunny weather. An average of 8 days out of 10, skiers have sunshine. This sunny valley of Trentino deeply loves night life. Here you can ski under the stars on the slope Olimpia 3 at Alpe Cermis and on the slope of Obereggen at Ski Center Latemar. Skiing at night, from 19.30 to 22.30, is also the best opportunity for having a dinner in a mountain hut and skiing back.
